It was on a beautiful spring day that the first settlers set their roots on the grounds that would soon be known as Calmar, Iowa. Little did they know that their seeds would blossom into the wonderful community which it has become.

The next regularly scheduled council meeting will be Monday, February 6, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. Meetings are held at the Calmar Fire station.

If you have something to discuss with the council and are NOT on the posted agenda you can be heard from 6:45 to 7:00 P.M. prior to the meeting.
