2008 Schedule of Events
Farmer's Day is celebrating its 100 YEAR ANNIVERSARY in 2008
We will have 100 days of Farmers Day in 2008
Kick off will be on Friday evening, May 30th. with the Calmar Area City Picnic. It will wrap up 100 days later on September 6th. There will be a tent set up and activities on September 4th. 5th. and 6th. The parade will be on Saturday the 6th.
Throughout the summer, about every other weekend there will be something scheduled: tentatively the activities are an antique tractor/collector car show, a beach party sponsored by the bars, a Texas hold em tournament sponsored by the Firemen, and a fun run. Watch this site as plans are firmed up by the Commercial Club.
THEME FOR 2008 IS "A CENTURY OF TRADITION"
