2024 Pool Season

Pool Hours
Monday - Friday 1:00 - 5:20 p.m. Open Swim, 5:30-6:30 Family & Adult Swim (must be at least 18 years old or with an adult), 6:30-8:00 pm Open Swim, Saturday and Sunday 1:00 - 6:30 pm Open Swim

Pool Closings
The pool will immediately close when there is an electrical storm or the imminent threat of one in the immediate area.

If temperature is 65 degrees or colder and no patrons show up after 3 p.m. the pool will close and reopen at 5 p.m.

Special Early Closures
Saturday, July 6: pool hours will be from 1:00 - 6:00 pm
The pool may also be closed some evenings for lessons, pool parties or other scheduled events.

Pool closed at 3:30 pm for home swim meets (Thursday, June 6) (Tuesday, June 11) (Thursday, June 20) (Tuesday, June 25)

Daily Admission Fees
FREE 3 years and under (parents/guardian must pay guardian fee of $5.00 unless over 65 years $4.50)
$5.00 4 to 64 years of age
$4.50 65 years and over, special needs patrons

Anyone entering the pool needs to pay above prices (even if they are not swimming)

Lap Swim and Water Exercise -We are still looking for a Water Exercise instructor, please let us know if interested!
Monday, Wednesday, Friday  8:00 to 9:00 a.m. - Tuesday and Thursday 8:00-9:30 a.m.

*Please check board for weekly updates on these hours as they may change with swim team.

Fee: regular daily admission or season/punch pass.

Season Swim Passes
Individual (4-64 years) $75.00
Senior (65 yrs & over) and special needs patrons $70.00

Family (2 members) $130.00
Family (3-4 members) $155.00
Family (5+ members) $180.00

*Caretaker Fee (to be added to Family Pass) $25.00

Family Pass Eligibility
"Family" is defined as all immediate family members 4 years and older residing at the same address - this would include children home from college, children of divorced parents who have joint custody, stepchildren and foster children. It does not include babysitters, ex-spouses or visiting relatives (sons, daughters, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.).

Each individual/senior pass purchaser and each person included on a family pass will be issued their own uniquely numbered card to present for admission each pool visit.
IF YOU LOSE YOUR CARD, $5.00 WILL HAVE TO BE PAID TO THE CITY OF CALMAR OFFICES FOR A REPLACEMENT.

DON'T NEED A SEASON PASS BUT DISLIKE THE HASSLE OF PAYING EACH TIME?
Purchase a punch pass, it will save you time and money! It's also ideal for visiting friends and relatives. More than one person can use the same pass if they are in the same age category.

Punch Passes
Individual (4-64 years of age) $50.00 11 admissions
Senior (65 years & over) and special needs patrons $45.00 11 admissions

Total Amount Due
Swim passes sent out upon receipt.
Checks payable to City of Calmar @ P.O. Box 268 Calmar, IA 52132 
$30.00 service charge on all returned checks.

Admission Rules
1. Everyone must pay admission to enter the pool premises whether or not you actually get into the pool, i.e. supervising young children or sun bathing.
2. If you wish to leave and return to the pool on the same day, you must be stamped for re-entry.
3. Children six (6) years and under must be accompanied by an adult. If a child has yet to be toilet trained, they MUST wear a swim diaper.

Lost and Found
Any items lost will be kept in the guardhouse for two weeks before being donated to the local thrift store. Lost items can be claimed through the guardhouse.

Pool Parties
The pool may be rented for private parties. The cost is $125.00 for the first hour and $75/hour for up to three additional hours. Reservations must be booked at least five days in advance. To reserve the pool, call the pool at (563)380-0240. If your date is available, a pool rental agreement must be filled out and payment made prior to the event. Groups must adhere to regular pool rules.
